The Haunted House Ghost Ranch in Solvang, California will be open October 30 and 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring the little ones for the kid friendly portion from 6 to 6:30 and experience chills and thrills after that time. This is the 19th year for the Haunted House to be open and it has been entertaining locals and visitors in the old barn, scary stables and corn maze. All the fun takes place at the Solvang Festival Theatre and admission for 13 and under is only $5. Everyone else pays $7 to get in.

And you may have never thought to pair wine and candy together but the Riverbench Vineyard & Winery in Santa Maria, California aims to change your mind.
