A couple local wineries are combining wine, food and the outdoors to celebrate dad. On June 16, start the day early at the Sierra Madre Vineyard with a hike through the vineyard at 9:30 a.m. Enjoy the views of the vineyard and surrounding scenery, then a light brunch will be served at the Vineyard Room, paired with wine tastings.
The Riverbend Winery will host a Father’s Day BBQ and Vineyard Walk. Also on June 16 starting at 11 a.m., guests will get a tour through the vineyards with Vineyard Manager Jim Stollberg. Learn firsthand how the wines are produced. Afterward there will be a wine tasting, BBQ, bocce ball, ladder golf and horseshoes.
