Airstreams & Cottages are Here!

Our first Airstream is here and ready to rent. The 2nd one will be here next week with 4 more under renovation now. All of these are 1955-1971 models from 21-29'. Each will have unique touches that will encourage you to want to try them all. Please call us to book your Airstream Experience. Visiting with family? Our 6 new loft cottages & cabins are perfect. They sleep 6 and kids adore the loft area. Each have a bathroom, and full kitchen. You won't miss the camping experience with your wrap around deck, firepit and BBQ grill.

NEW LUXURY COTTAGES AND CUSTOM AIRSTREAMS ON THE WAY!!

We have 6 brand new luxury cottages being built for us right now. We have told you to expect them and now its official! They will be ready, complete with new decks furnishings by the end of April. Everyone who is on the waiting list will be contacted next week to confirm those reservations. In Addition, we have hired a design team to completely renovate vintage 1960's Airstreams in custom styles and themes. Once completed these will offer the most unique camping experience in the market. Availability is expected starting in May.

Wine & Chili Festival @ Flying Flags

Welcome to the inaugural Buellton Wine & Chili Festival! Some of the best local wineries, restaurants & chefs will compete to take home cash prizes for the best Red Chili, Chile Verde and Homemade Salsa in the Santa Ynez Valley.

As a guest you get to participate in the People's Choice awards; you decide who has the best Red Chili, best Chili Verde, best Salsa, best Booth Showmanship, and best red and white wines. Your ticket includes a souvenir wine glass and unlimited wine tastes; ten chili tasting tickets; an Oak BBQ lunch; live entertainment & more!

Buellton Winterfest

Come enjoy Buellton's 1st Annual Winterfest Celebration on Dec 2nd from 8am - 8pm. Events are within walking distance of the resort:

9am-Noon: Breakfast with Santa - Enjoy a full breakfast and photos with Santa Claus

4-6pm: Concert, Cookies, & Cocoa - Enjoy musical performances by local youth and share the spirit of the season with homemade baked goods and hot cocoa

4-8pm: Holiday Village-Avenue of Flags, Live Music, Food, Crafts, Beer & Wine

6pm: Light Parade and Caroling Cruise - Hop aboard one of our lighted hay trucks or bring your own decorated vehicle and join the light parade for caroling through town and ending at the Tree Lighting

7pm: Christmas Tree Lighting - The final event, help us count down for Santa to light the big tree on the Avenue of Flags at First St.

Buellton Vintage Trailer Bash

Its coming again....the 3rd Annual and biggest bash yet. The Buellton Vintage Trailer Bash is back Sept 14-16, 2012. This year we have over 170 RV's from the 1940's, 1950's and the 1960's. There will be an open house all day on Saturday. So come visit with the RV's and cars of yesteryear.

RV Showcase at Flying Flags

This summer you can shop for a new RV while you camp at Flying Flags. Pacific Coast RV Sales has a huge selection of new direct from factory RV's. In addition they have many super clean bank reposessions. All of the units are displayed right at the campground and open for touring.

Flying Flags manager, Dan Baumann explains "This relationship is a win, win scenario. Our guests love to make an activity out of touring through the RV's to see the latest innovations and floor plans. I see many people with wine glasses, kids and even their pets." Shaun Brewer, president of Pacific Coast RV Sales goes on to explain "what better place is there to display RV's then right there at a campground? Guests can stroll through the RV's without having to go to a high pressure sales lot."

The RV Showcase is open every day from 10am - 5pm with a sales staff ready to answer questions, or arrange a trade and finance your new purchase. Mr. Brewer remarks "We have been told our prices and trade in values are the best. We've upgraded many guests at Flying Flags to the RV they have always wanted" Some have arrived to Flying Flags in one RV and left in a brand new one.

1st Annual Buellton BREWFEST

More than 20 breweries including Figueroa Mountain, Firestone, Tapit, Stone Brewing, Heretic, and Mendocino Brewing will showcase favorites and the best in craft beer, plus lunch by Avant Tapas & Wine, and live music by area indie-rock band Lakes.

The inaugural Buellton Brew Fest kicks off Santa Ynez Valley's Craft Beer Week on Saturday, May 12 at River View Park. Tickets are now available for $25 advance purchase and $35 at the door, and include a commemorative tasting glass, lunch, live music, and unlimited tastings.

Vintner's Festival Weekend

The annual Santa Barbara County Vintners' Festival Weekend attracts wine lovers from near and far for an opportunity to meet member vintners, taste their wines, and enjoy great food and music April 20-22nd

The main event is the Vintners' Festival - a festive outdoor environment on Saturday, April 21 from 1 to 4pm. The Festival features the wines of our 110+ members of the Association, live and lively music, a silent auction and wine country cuisine by the area's finest chefs. The Festival will be at its new venue in neaby Los Olivos.

Most area wineries also host events throughout Santa Barbara Wine Country starting Friday - tastings of library wines or barrel samples, vineyard barbecues, winemaker dinners, wine & food pairings.
