A Resolution you can Keep!

If you’re already staying with us or plan to be at Flying Flags this weekend, check out the New Year’s Eve dance party at Chumash Casino. This party will start at 9 p.m.  on December 31 and will feature tunes from 70s cover band Boogie Nights, followed by 80s cover band The Spazmatics.

A few wineries in Buellton and Solvang will host New Year’s Eve events, like the Avantastic New Year’s Eve at Avant Tapas & Wine, New Year’s Eve at Figueroa Mountain Brewing, New Year’s Eve at Randy’s Taproom and New Year’s Eve DJ & Dancing at Solvang Brewing Company. And the brand new Ynez Valley Wine Club website now helps visitors and locals keep up with local events, offers and things to do around town. Explore new local shops, restaurants for any type of cuisine you’re craving, relaxing spas and upcoming winery tastings and tours.

And for the holidays it’s easy to see what wineries and restaurants will be hosting special events for Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Listings range from live music to pub trivia to fundraisers and festivals. Restaurant week will be coming up January 22 through 28 and you can see all the participating restaurants and share the event on Facebook or Twitter.

Flying Flags top rated!

We are honored to receive the 5W top rating from Woodall Publications for 2012. It is our third consecutive year to receive this honor and we are flattered to be one of 363 campgrounds earning the perfect 5W/5W rating out of over 8,000 privately owned parks in the North American Campground Directory.

Woodall’s builds their ratings around many factors including park maintenance, the quality of sites, roads, grounds, restrooms and facilities as well as attractions and recreation nearby the park.
